Olympics is ending today. I had been catching it without fail everyday when I reach home till midnight. It had been such a great source of inspiration to me the past few weeks, with teams like U.S.A winning the men volleyball gold when confronted with emotional turmoil, michael phelps winning the unprecedented eight gold medals, the female divers from China showing their overwhelming superiority by scoring near perfect marks for each category and many more such cases. All of them are champions in their own right. To even make it to the olympics is a feat itself. Minus the cases of doping and disrespect, it had been such an awe inspiring event.

I personally felt quite disturbed to see people cheering some athletes on or watching the olympics just to be trendy. It is indeed intriguing to see people previously not interested in sports suddenly waxing lyrical of a particular high achieving athlete. I am amazed at the frivolity of their comments as well as their ability to pick up an interest in such a flash.

Meanwhile, a revolution is lurking.

life can be a burden, but dun ever give up
