The end of the finals, jubilation and joy was accompanied by a slight tinge of sadness. This unlikely team of different individuals from different schools had banded together to capture the title. It had been an incredible journey this two years, though tumultuous at times as well. We have had numerous arguments and dissatisfaction with each other. At times, it even seemed impossible to work together anymore. However, I was really happy that all of us really worked our asses off as we geared up for our season. Trainings till nine plus at night, i believed as much as it was tough for everyone, it was enjoyable. For 2 years, all of us did quite alot of growing up in terms of maturity and skills, especially for the high sch ppl who had only tasted mediocrity in our sec sch years. Players like galvin, melvin and samuel were like seriously a class above the rest and they really inspired with the power and fluency of their play. As we were crowned the champions, this brought along a fitting end to our volleyball careers for many of us. We will miss each other and the trainings desperately. The pts which seemed insurmountable at first, something which we overcame with random shouts which might sound incredibly childish but to us an immense source of entertainment and motivation. It is indeed strange how things work. Thank you everyone for an incredible 2 years.
